The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
